This policy explains how renohatch creates, reviews, and maintains its content, and the standards every guide is held to.
Who writes our content
Every guide is written by a named member of our editorial team and published under their byline, with a short biography describing their background, trade, and the topics they cover.
How we research and write
We ground our content in real-world pricing, supplier and manufacturer data, published cost research, building-code requirements, and the hands-on experience of our contributors, who include a general contractor, a construction cost estimator, and licensed tradespeople. We write in plain, human language, aim to be genuinely useful rather than merely comprehensive, and we avoid hype, scare tactics, and lowball numbers that fall apart in practice.
Review and human oversight
Content is reviewed by an editor before publication for accuracy, clarity, balance, and tone, and cost figures are checked against current market pricing and the experience of our trade contributors. While we may use modern tools to assist research and drafting, every guide is shaped and checked by a qualified human before it goes live.
Corrections and updates
We update guides as prices, materials, and codes change, and we correct errors promptly. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, please tell us.
Editorial independence
Our recommendations reflect our honest, experience-based judgment. Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine our editorial conclusions, and they never come before giving you advice that genuinely serves your budget and your home.
